The wine that changed everything, except the name.

For years, Chaminé was the wine you saw everywhere: millions of bottles, supermarket shelves, a name almost everyone recognized but few looked at twice.

Today it is something else. Under the new generation at Cortes de Cima, led by Anna Jørgensen, the historic Vidigueira estate rebuilt Chaminé from the ground up: from millions of bottles to 100 to 150 thousand a year, organic and regenerative farming, low intervention winemaking, a lighter bottle, no capsule, natural cork, minimalist label, and 100 percent estate grown grapes.

The name comes from the Chaminé do Gião plot, crossed by a small stream that winds through the landscape like smoke rising from a chimney. That connection to the land is what gives the wine its soul.

A glimpse of Cortes de Cima

On July 18, we celebrate that transformation at Insaciável, in Lisbon.

Insaciável has been a long standing partner of Temple Wines. For many years this incredible wine bar has supported and served a range of projects distributed by us, and we hold deep respect for the work of Arnaud and Caroline. There was no better place to celebrate this launch.

An afternoon that drifts into night, from 5pm to midnight, built around Chaminé Branco and Tinto:

Alentejo style snacks
Sunset and a toast together
Music and a relaxed atmosphere

"Unfiltered" is the wine (organic, low intervention, honest) and it is also the attitude: authentic, without artifice.

Free entry. Insaciável is a wine bar, we recommend booking ahead on Eventbrite (not required), and we count on you to taste and toast: wines by the glass or bottle and Alentejo style snacks available on site.
