Antoine Lepetit de la Bigne (La Pierre Ronde) Bourgogne Pinot Noir “Cuvée Ronde” 2024
Burgundy – France
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
PRODUCER
Antoine Lepetit de la Bigne is one of the most compelling voices of Burgundy’s new generation. Trained as an agronomist and oenologist, he began his career outside wine before pursuing his true vocation, driven by a search for authenticity and expression.
His path includes formative experiences with Olivier Humbrecht at Domaine Zind-Humbrecht and, most significantly, eight years alongside Anne-Claude Leflaive at Domaine Leflaive, where he deepened his understanding of biodynamics and terroir-driven viticulture.
In 2021, he founded Domaine de la Pierre Ronde in Beaune, working with organically and biodynamically farmed grapes, often under his direct guidance. His philosophy is based on minimal intervention, moderate sulfur use and precise élevage in barrel, foudre or amphora, always in service of terroir expression.
His wines stand out for their purity, texture and balance, reflecting an increasingly refined and thoughtful interpretation of contemporary Burgundy.

THE WINE
Bourgogne Pinot Noir “Cuvée Ronde” 2024 is a unique cuvée, produced exclusively in this vintage, blending wines from multiple parcels and appellations across the Côte de Beaune and Bourgogne Rouge, each vinified separately and assembled only after élevage.
The vineyards range from 6 to 65 years of age, bringing together youthful energy and structural depth in a single expression.
Vinification is carried out without added sulfur, with around 20% whole clusters, enhancing freshness, aromatic complexity and structural finesse. Maceration lasts around 10 days on average, with gentle pump-overs and punch-downs to ensure a delicate and balanced extraction.
In the glass, the wine shows a pure and finely detailed profile, with notes of fresh red berries, subtle floral tones and a delicate earthy undertone. The aromatic expression is precise and restrained, avoiding excess ripeness.
On the palate, it is defined by its fine texture and delicate tannins, supported by a vibrant acidity that brings clarity and energy. The structure is balanced and fluid, with a seamless progression and a clean, persistent finish.
A Bourgogne Pinot Noir of notable precision and identity, demonstrating the producer’s ability to harmonize multiple origins while preserving transparency and elegance.
