Clos Cibonne Cuvée Spéciale des Vignettes Rosé 2023
The most original and exciting rosé of Provence. Born on the schist slopes of the Massif des Maures, just 800 meters from the Mediterranean, this singular wine is produced from the ancestral Tibouren grape, organically cultivated by the Roux family for nearly 230 years at the historic Clos Cibonne estate. Aged for 12 months in century-old vats under a veil of yeasts (sous voile), the Cuvée des Vignettes offers a complex, profound style entirely unlike the norm. A rosé with the soul of a saline white wine and remarkable longevity — to cellar or to serve with refinement.
Composition and Viticulture
Grape varieties: 90% Tibouren, 10% Grenache
Viticulture: Certified organic farming (AB – Agriculture Biologique), manual soil work
Vine age: Over 60 years

Vinification and Aging
Rosé from rapid direct pressing, fermented in stainless steel with indigenous yeasts.
Élevage: 12 months in vats (foudres) over 100 years old, with the natural formation of a yeast veil (“fleurette”), similar to wines from Jerez or the Jura.
Tasting Notes
A serious, saline rosé. Complex aromatics with notes of orange blossom, grapefruit peel, iodized salinity, and dried herbs. On the palate, the texture reveals elegance, tension, and depth, with a persistent, dry finish. A rosé for aging, which evolves nobly over several years.
