NV Coessens Brut Blanc de Noirs Largillier
About the Producer
Domaine Coessens is internationally recognized for its 3.36 hectare monopole in Ville-sur-Arce, in the Côte des Bars, planted exclusively with Pinot Noir. Jérôme Coessens runs the estate with an absolute focus on the Largillier terroir, whose kimmeridgian soils resemble the great crus of Chablis more than the rest of Champagne. Since 2010, winemaking has followed sustainable practices, and since 2021 the estate has held organic certification.
The Wine
Made from the 2021 harvest, this Champagne is produced exclusively with Pinot Noir from parcels dominated by marl and limestone. The Brut Blanc de Noirs Largillier is a vibrant, precise and pure Champagne, a direct reflection of the mineral typicity of its soils and the domaine's artisanal philosophy.
Tasting Notes
Aromas of orange peel, red cherry, wild raspberry and white peach. On the palate, it shows medium to full body, generous fruit and invigorating acidity, culminating in a long, sculpted and incisive finish. A sparkling wine that combines natural elegance with the expressive power of Pinot Noir.
