Domaine Roland Lavantureux
Chablis “Vau Renard”

Description

Chablis “Vau Renard” brings together parcels from the Vau Renard valley, a natural corridor linking the villages of Lignorelles and Villy, in a relatively warm sector with south/southeast exposure. This orientation gives the wine greater structure and roundness, highlighting fruit maturity and expressive intensity, while never losing Chablis’ classic identity.

The limestone subsoil lends precision and definition to the palate, ensuring a chiselled, dynamic finish that extends the wine and balances the generosity of the attack. A cuvée that combines maturity, freshness, and depth, conceived to gain complexity with a few years in bottle.

Tasting Notes

On the nose, it shows ripe character, despite an immediate sensation of freshness.
On the palate, the entry is smooth and enveloping, with ripe fruit filling the mouth. The relatively dense mid-palate quickly reveals the freshness typical of the appellation. The overall impression is generous and balanced, finishing with a dynamic, persistent finale.

Aging Potential

Best from around 3 years after harvest
Excellent evolution between 3 and 8 years

Pairings

Very versatile at the table: grilled fish, seafood, light oven-baked dishes, classic French cuisine, or poultry with delicate sauces.

If you’d like, I can also adapt this into a shorter trade-facing technical sheet, a sommelier-style note, or an e-commerce–ready version.
