Dominio del Águila Canta la Perdiz 2019
Ribera del Duero DO | Spain
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Description
Spain’s most fascinating, awarded, and sought-after domaine tells the story of visionary vigneron Jorge Monzón — who spent two years alongside Bernard Noblet at the legendary Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, one year at Vega Sicilia, and a decade at Arzuaga Navarro.
Returning to his native village of Aguilera in Ribera del Duero, Jorge, together with Isabel Rodero, rescued some of the region’s finest old vines, organically farmed, and now practices precise, low-intervention winemaking.
Today, Dominio del Águila’s wines are among Spain’s most revered — true icons of elegance, purity, and authenticity.

Scores & Reviews
98 points — Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate
“It has a very expressive nose that is open and immediate, with polished tannins and surprisingly integrated oak after such a long élevage. It's a vintage of pleasure and juiciness but with serious structure and depth, and it is very harmonious and balanced with fine-grained chalky tannins.”
