Champagne, alongside Burgundy, is one of the most important wine regions for Temple Wines.
Our admiration for Champagne has been built over many years of visits, tastings, study and direct relationships with some of the region's most extraordinary growers. It is also one of the places where the influence of terroir, precision and craftsmanship is felt most profoundly, where greatness can be found not only among the historic houses but also among a remarkable generation of small, highly sought-after growers.
This collection brings together a carefully curated selection of exceptional Champagnes, with a particular focus on rare, allocated and genuinely distinctive producers. We work with some of the region's most coveted names, including true cult producers and "unicorn" bottles that are increasingly difficult to find on the international market.
Among them are producers such as Étienne Calsac and Jérôme Prévost, whose wines have become benchmarks for terroir-driven Champagne. We are also proud to work with Coessens, whose famed Largillier vineyard supplied grapes to Anselme Selosse for many years, and to welcome David Léclapart, one of the most influential figures in the world of natural Champagne and one of the region's most revered growers.
The fact that we are able to offer producers of this calibre says a great deal about the quality and seriousness of our selection. Access to these wines does not happen by chance. It is the result of years spent visiting Champagne, building relationships, understanding the region and focusing on producers whose wines truly stand apart.
Today, we supply some of Portugal's leading restaurants and wine professionals while continuing to work with highly limited allocations. For collectors, enthusiasts and anyone seeking Champagne with authenticity, energy and a profound sense of place, this collection represents a rare opportunity to explore some of the finest grower Champagnes available.
From Blanc de Blancs and Blanc de Noirs to single-vineyard bottlings and low-intervention cuvées, these are wines that reveal why Champagne remains one of the world's greatest wine regions.
